Carlos Alcaraz has secured a place at the ATP Finals in Turin
Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has secured a place at the ATP Finals in Turin in November, joining world number one Jannik Sinner (Italy) and two-time champion Alexander Zverev (Germany).
Carlos Alcaraz, 21, won the French Open and Wimbledon this year to take his Grand Slam titles to four before taking silver at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The world’s number three, who also captured the Masters’ ATP 1000 Indian Wells Open title, has qualified for the season finale for the third consecutive year and will be aiming to win the trophy for the first time since reaching the semi-finals last year. An injury prevented him from participating in the 2022 edition.
Jannik Sinner, last year’s finalist, qualified for the ATP Finals back in August after reaching the quarter-finals in Montreal, while 2018 and 2021 champion Alexander Zverev earned his place after finishing in the top eight at this month’s US Open.
The ATP Finals, featuring the world’s top eight singles and doubles players, will be held from November 10 to 17.
