The world’s number twelve Hubert Hurkacz withdrew from the ATP 500 Swiss Indoors Basel tournament, which will be held from October 21 to 27. In the main scheme of the tournament, Hubert Hurkacz will be replaced by
Fabian Marozsan (Italy).

In 2023, Hubert Hurkacz reached the final of the ATP 500 Swiss Indoors Basel tournament, where he lost to Canadian tennis player Felix Auger Aliassime by 0-2 (7:5(3), 7:6(5)).

Earlier, the Polish tennis player withdrew from the ATP Masters 1000 Shanghai. He last appeared on the court at the tournament in ATP 500 Japan Open in Tokyo, where he lost to the British Jack Draper in the second round by 0-2 (4:6, 4:6).

Hubert Hurkacz is currently No 12 in the ATP ranking with 3,060 points.
