Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) triumphed with the title at the ATP 500 China Open after a comeback against the world’s number one Jannik Sinner (Italy) and winning in three sets by 2-1 (6:7, 6:4, 7:6) in 3:24 hours. This is the first title for the Spanish tennis player in the tournament and an important step towards the world’s number one place in the ATP ranking.
