Andy Roddick believes Cori Coco Gauff will not rush to appoint a new coach
American tennis player Cori Coco Gauff will not rush to appoint a new permanent coach after parting with Brad Gilbert, believes her compatriot and former world’s number one Andy Roddick.
Cori Coco Gauff, who is world’s number 6 in the ladies’ rankings, confirmed last week the end of her 14-month partnership with Brad Gilbert.
Cori Coco Gauff and Brad Gilbert began working together last summer and the American tennis talent won the 2023 US Open title and reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open and Roland Garros this season.
Andy Roddick believes Cori Coco Gauff is not particularly worried about finding a suitable new personal trainer quickly.
“Obviously, Cori Coco Gauff and Brad Gilbert have been extremely successful. I don’t think she’s going to rush into a decision”, said Andy Roddick.
Despite a tough summer, Cori Coco Gauff is in good form for a third consecutive appearance at the WTA Finals, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this year.
