World number one tennis player Jannik Sinner has become an ambassador for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.
“I am proud to be part of the Olympic team in 2026, because it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will bring us emotions, new friendships and unexpected meetings. But above all, it will allow us to be part of an extraordinary project – The Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo”, said Jannik Sinner.
The Italian tennis player did not take part in the Summer Olympics in Paris due to inflammation of the tonsils.
The 23-year-old tennis player won two Grand Slam titles this year – the Australian Open and the US Open.
