Taylor Fritz climbed five positions in the ATP Ranking
The US Open 2024 runner-up Taylor Fritz (USA) climbed with 5 positions in the ATP Ranking to world’s No 7. The American tennis player made a fantastic performance at the US Open and earned 1,300 points for his ranking of 4,060 points.
Meanwhile Hubert Hurkacz (Poland), Casper Ruud (Norway) and Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria) lost one position from the ATP ranking. Novak Djokovic (Serbia) fell from second to fourth position after Alexander Zverev (Germany) climbed from fourth to second position in the ranking following the results of the recently finished US Open.
Leader in the ATP ranking remains Jannik Sinner (Italy) with 11,180 points, following by Alexander Zverev with 7,075 points and Carlos Alcaraz with 6,690 points.
Taylor Fritz made a fantastic season, winning the titles at the ATP 250 Delray Beach Open and ATP 250 Rothesay International Eastbourne, as well as playing in the quarter-finals at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and ATP 1000 Rome Open, semi-finals at the ATP 1000 Madrid Open.
