Jannik Sinner added two former Novak Djokovic’s coaches to his team

Team Sinner

World’s number one Jannik Sinner announced the beginning of a collaboration with physical training coach Marco Panichi.

From 2019 to 2024, Marco Panichi works in the team of 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic. In addition, physiotherapist Ulises Badio, who also previously worked with Djokovic, joined Jannik Sinner’s team.

“Welcome to the team, Marco and Ulises!”, wrote Jannik Sinner under a joint photo with the two.

Jannik Sinner fired two members of the team, fitness coach Umberto Ferrara and physiotherapist Giacomo Naldi, after their culpability in the tennis player’s positive doping tests became known.

Jannik Sinner has won 16 singles titles on the ATP Tour, including two majors at the 2024 Australian Open and the 2024 US Open, where he became the first Italian man to win the Open. He has also won three Masters 1000 titles. He was a runner-up at the ATP Finals and led Italy to the 2023 Davis Cup crown, its first since 1976.
